Rankings Update: Darren Till Surges, Bisping Removed From Official UFC Ranks

UFC welterweight Darren Till earned a unanimous decision victory over No. 1 ranked two-time former title challenger Stephen Thompson back at UFC Fight Night 130. Following the stunning day of fights, there have been a series of updates to the official UFC rankings.

Darren Till has officially landed on the official UFC rankings, having made it to the No. 2 spot in the welterweight division. Within the heavyweight division, Derrick Lewis has moved up to the No. 5 spot.

Mark Hunt has also moved up a single ranking by being placed in the No. 6 position. Former champion Junior dos Santos moved up an impressive eight rankings to make it to No. 7. Junior Albini entered the rankings in the No. 15 position.

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has retired from the sport of mixed martial arts. Consequently, the fighter has been removed from the official rankings.

Derek Brunson is now in spot No. 6. David Branch was moved to No. 7. The No. 8 slot was granted to Lyoto Machida.

Brad Taveres is now in the No. 9 slot. Uriah Hall is at No. 10. Antonio Carlos Junior is at No. 11. Paulo Costa and Elias Theodorou are respectively in the No. 13 and 14 positions. Krzysztof Jotko made it to the No. 15 slot.

Within the welterweight class, Stephen Thompson dropped from his No. 1 contender spot down to No. 3. Rafael dos Anjos has been upgraded to the No. 1 contender.

Colby Covington has dropped to No. 4. Robbie Lawler is now down to No. 5. Kamaru Usman and Demian Maia each dropped to No. 6 and 7. Neil Magny climbed to No. 8. Jorge Masvidal dropped to No. 9.

Leon Edwards and Gunnar Nelson transitioned into the No. 13 and 14 spots.

Within the women’s bantamweight class, Lina Lansberg moved up to the No. 11 spot. Irene Aldana, Lucie Pudilova, and Sarah Moras each fell to No. 12, 13 and 14. Lastly, women’s flyweight Gillian Robertson hit No. 15.
