The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in Utica, New York for the latest fight card from the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion. This time around, the fighting organization hosted the highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 131.

UFC Fight Night 131 went down inside the Adirondack Bank Center for fight fans worldwide, offer a series of stunning match ups. However, perhaps none of the night’s bouts were able to completely live up to the dazzling finish featured in the first fight of the night.

Kicking off the night’s UFC Fight Pass prelims, flyweights Jarred Brooks and Jose Torres went toe-to-toe in a battle for division dominance. Brooks was seemingly getting the better of his opponent, until the fighter picked up Torres and attempted to slam him into the canvas.

Rather than harming his opponent, Brooks’ head went crashing into the ground and the fighter was left unconscious from his own force. Torres quickly took advantage of the moment and finished off his opponent for a bizarre knockout victory.
