Sam Alvey Gets It Done, Takes Out Villante In His Hometown | UFC Results

In the UFC Yutica main card show opener on Fox Sports 1, UFC light-heavyweights Sam Alvey and Gian Villante.

In the opening round, Villante was effective in what can only be deemed as a stand up affair. However, with seconds left Alvey landed a bomb of a left hand that dropped Villante hard before the final bell.

In rounds two and three, both fighters remained timid, landing less than 2o strikes each in each round.

In the end, the judges scored it for Alvey, and rightfully so.
