A truly historic night of fights took place over the weekend. Now fight fans can take a look into one of the important aspects of the night’s event.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has accomplished a massive goal. The promotion hosted the first state sanctioned bare-knuckle fight within the United States since 1889. In over a century, the feat has not been accomplished.
On Saturday night, June 2, Bare Knuckle FC hosted the inaugural event. With it having been 127 years since the last sanctioned bare-knuckle throwdown, fight fans were offered a hand wrapping demonstration ahead of the event.
While fighters compete without gloves and with their knuckles exposed, a basic hand wrap is still applied around the wrists of the fighters to prevent injury. Check out a demonstration down below:
