UFC welterweight Colby Covington has hit the internet with a series of polarizing videos as of later. Each video is a part of the fighter’s “#nerdbash” campaign, as Covington continues to play the heel ahead of his UFC interim welterweight fight ahead of UFC 225.
However, UFC women’s strawweights Jessica Penne and Angela Hill have now decided to parody the fighter.
Penne and Hill have started up a new podcast called “2 Straws.” In promotion for the podcast, the two fighters recently made a video in the spirit of Colby Covington’s controversial “#nerdbash” campaign.
Hill and Penne even decided to pull a reference to Covington’s recent altercation with former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum, in which Werdum struck Covington with a boomerang for calling Brazilians “filthy animals” at UFC Sao Paulo.
Covington would go on to file a police report against Werdum following the incident, causing more controversy for the fighter. Check out the entertaining “2 Straw” parody video above.
