A legend of the highest order, PRIDE and UFC veteran Wanderlei Silva may call it a career after his upcoming fourth fight against his career nemesis Rampage Jackson.
The Brazilian fighter has ambitions once again to run for Congress, and believes that he will focus on that, and retire from Mixed Martial Arts.
In a talk with MMAjunkie he touched on the subject, stating, “I’m not going to accept money from anybody. I’m going to use the media to promote my name because I want to be there with my hands clean, to be different.”
“Maybe this is going to be my last fight, and after, I’ll go to the next step.”
Wanderlei Silva ran for Congress in 2014 but did not win a seat.
