Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has successfully transitioned into the world of professional wrestling. With that in mind, the trailblazing mixed martial artist took quite the blow in her latest performance on the WWE stage.
Ronda Rousey has not competed inside the octagon since going on a two fight losing streak back in 2016. While the Olympic Judo medalist has yet to retire from MMA, Rousey has signed with professional wrestling titan WWE.
After putting on a stunning performance in her WWE pay-per-view debut at WrestleMania 34, Rousey is now set to take on Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax. The two will throw down for the title at Money in the Bank on June 17 in Chicago, Illinois. The event will take place live on pay-per-view.
Ahead of the match up, Jax and Rousey recently met face-to-face inside the ring. After suffering a hefty headbutt from Nia Jax, Ronda Rousey was left momentarily reeling on the canvas.
