UFC light heavyweight Ovince Saint Preux put on a stunning performance over the weekend. Now it would appear that the fighter’s recent finish earned Saint Preux a place among Jon Jones and Chuck Liddell in the record books.
UFC Fight Night 132 took place in Singapore on Saturday, June 23. Featured on the night’s card, Ovince Saint Preux went toe-to-toe with Tyson Pedro. Saint Preux managed to submit his opponent with the first round.
All in all, Saint Preux has now earned 18 stoppage victories out of his total 23 wins. A grand total of nine of the fighter’s UFC victories have come via a stoppage. Saint Preux, Jon Jones and UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell are now all tied for the most stoppage victories within the light heavyweight division.
Beyond that, Saint Preux’s five submission victories within the octagon have once again tied the fighter with Jon Jones for the most within the division.
