Featherweight Yair Rodriguez was reportedly released from his UFC contract after the fighter allegedly turned down a match up against Zabit Magomedsharipov. However, it would now appear that the fighter may be back on the UFC roster and set to fight Magomedsharipov after all.
Yair Rodriguez was initially being targeted for a match up against Zabit Magomedsharipov for Aug. 4. However, Rodriguez later took to social media to claim the bout’s confirmation was “#FakeNews.”
