Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar failed his drug test for UFC 200. Consequently, the former title holder was dealt a one-year suspension from the octagon.
Lesnar sat on the sidelines for six months, before leaving the USADA testing pool and reclaiming his spot as a WWE superstar. Since then, newly crowned two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier has decided to call out Lesnar.
Lesnar has accepted the call out and reentered the USADA testing pool to finish out the final six months of his suspension as of July 3. Within the latest update from USADA’s “Athlete Test History,” it was revealed that Brock Lesnar provided his first sample to the anti-doping watch dogs sometime this week. The results from the random drug test has yet to be revealed.
At any rate, the former heavyweight champion will have to pass all of his tests in order to make it inside the octagon with Daniel Cormier.
