The time has finally come. UFC women’s bantamweight Cat Zingano is stepping inside the octagon once again. Now fight fans can check out the UFC results from the match up down below.
The highly anticipated fight card for UFC Fight Night 133 is going down inside the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho tonight, July 14, for fight fans around the world. Kicking off the night’s live FS1 broadcast main card, Cat Zingano is going toe-to-toe with Marion Reneau for the Boise crowd.
Zingano opened up the first round at a methodical pace, pummeling her opponent with strong jabs. In the final moments before the bell, the mixed martial arts phenom slammed Reneau to the canvas for a successful takedown.
The second round was a strong five minutes for Zingano. The fighter managed to take her opponent to the canvas multiple times, after having largely neutralized Reneau’s stand up.
Zingano quickly took Reneau back to the canvas early in the final round, stinging her opponent with some brutal ground and pound. The UFC broadcast team then revealed that Zingano has broken the record for most takedowns in a women’s bantamweight UFC fight with a total of seven, breaking Ronda Rousey’s record.
This one has gone the distance, seemingly a dominant performance by “Alpha” Cat Zingano.
