Former WEC and Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz is a veteran of mixed martial arts. The fighter has faced off against some of the sport’s toughest and most talented competitors throughout his illustrious career. That being said, the Stockton native is now getting some heat from interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington following a recent statement.
Nick Diaz first took to Instagram to offer his heated thoughts on Daniel Cormier’s big victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 226.
“Sick of this all this ‘baddest man on the planet’ bs. I’ll fight for any title at Any weight. @Ufc wants to make bs wwf fights with guys that fight like shit and put on an act. @dc_mma would look way worse than I do in this pic if he fought Anderson the way I did but instead he decided to wrestle fuck him for five rounds in front of his whole life And still almost got finished off in the last round with Silva only having two or three weeks notice @danawhite should give me this fight instead of dick chest Brock Lesnars cheating ass

Colby Covington was quick to respond over social media. In the response, Covington accused Nick Diaz of “beating women.”

Nick Diaz is currently facing felony and misdemeanor charges of domestic violence for an alleged altercation with a woman.
Speaking on Submission Radio, Colby Covington has since come forward with more of his thoughts on Nick Diaz.
“He’s just delusional.”
“He’s putting stuff out there that’s fake news. Come on bro, you’re not going up to heavyweight and beating the natty GOAT, Daniel Cormier, and he is the natural greatest of all time. I had to put him in his place. I had to let him know, I’m the 170 titleholder, if you comeback and you want a big fight I’m waiting for you – that’s easy money, homie.”
“I think he’s too busy getting drunk and hitting women in clubs, he ain’t got enough time for fighting no more. He’s got bigger issues now, he’s got to deal with the law. All he’s been doing for the last couple of years is trying to generate hype, keep the hype up so he can get sponsors. He keeps saying he wants to fight but he’s out in Stockton acting like a little bitch.”
“I expect him and Nate to be a little hostile the next time I see them and probably try and get their hands on me. Put Nate and Nick with me in a room at the same time, there’s only man coming out and that’s me. Nick and Nate have no chance, I’ll beat both those scrubs up on the same night.”
