Mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA hosted a stunning fight card over the weekend. Now a highlight from the night’s record setting knockout performance has made its way to the internet.
The highly anticipated fight card for Bellator 203 took place on Saturday, July 14, from within the Foro Italico in Rome, Italy. Kicking off the night’s tape delayed main card on Paramount, bantamweights Michele Martignoni and Simone D’Anna went toe-to-toe for the Rome crowd.
Martignoni made his Bellator debut in historic fashion, knocking out D’Anna in only six seconds. The knockout is now tied for the shortest knockout in the promotion’s history.
