Following reports that interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington has turned down a Sept. 8 fight for UFC 228 against reigning title holder Tyron Woodley, a new rumor suggests that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now looking to strip Covington of his title. Now Covington has come forward with a reaction.
As reported by ESPN, Colby Covington is unable to compete at UFC 228 for undisclosed reasons. The promotion is now reportedly looking to lock down a fight between Tyron Woodley and Darren Till for the fight card.
