Jon Jones Breaks His Silence On Being Removed As GOAT, In Place Of Two Division Champ DC

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been silent over social media ever since heated rival Daniel Cormier’s recent historic title fight victory on Saturday. Now “Bones” Jones has come forward with his first statement over the internet since the event.

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have formed quite the rivalry. Jones is the only fighter to have ever defeated D.C. In their recent rematch at UFC 214, Jones knocked out his opponent but ultimately failed his drug test for the match up.

Consquently, Jon Jones is now awaiting the USADA hearing for his latest drug test failure. Meanwhile, reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier knocked out UFC heavyweight title holder Stipe Miocic within the first round of their octagon outing on Saturday, July 7.

Daniel Cormier is now only the second fighter in UFC history to simultaneously wield two division titles. Now Jon Jones has come forward with his first statement over social media since the event.

Jones stated, “Well I hope the whole MMM community is having an awesome Monday. Know that God is love.”

“Just keep in mind that life is a journey and not a race.” Jones later stated. “If it’s in Gods will for me to still be here and healthy, please believe that they’ll be many more fights to come. Let’s not forget I’m still the youngest guy in the top 5 at HW & LHW @UniqueMazique.”
