Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is currently awaiting his USADA hearing after his most recent drug test failure. Now Jones has come forward with an update concerning his fighting future.
Jon Jones failed a drug test for UFC 214 back in 2017. Jones’ fighting license was revoked by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) and the fighter was fined a massive total of $205,000.
That being said, the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) could dish out a several year long suspension. Still, Jones has yet to have his hearing over the matter.
Taking to Twitter, Jon Jones has decided to assure his fight fans that his best days inside the octagon have yet to come.
“The update is that I’m alive and well, been enjoying my family this summer and also doing a lot of personal growth work,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “No clue when I’ll be back in the Octagon exactly. But I do believe wholeheartedly that my best days in the UFC are still ahead.”
