UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is currently back in training in preparation for whichever fighter decides to challenge him for his title. Now “The Eagle” has come forward to reveal which competitors are currently on his mind.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) stripped UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor of his title and interim champion Tony Ferguson of his title so that Nurmagomedov could compete for the then vacant title in the main event of UFC 223. “The Eagle” earned a lopsided victory over Al Iaquinta, a fighter that was then not ranked within the top ten of the division, for the belt.
Now Nurmagomedov is gearing up for a series of possible opponents. The fighter was initially set to face of against Tony Ferguson at UFC 223, but “El Cucuy” suffered an injury six days before fight night.
Beyond that, Khabib Nurmagomedov has now come forward to voice an interest in fighting Conor McGregor or the winner between Dustin Poirier and Eddie Alvarez. Check it out below:
