Khabib’s Cousin Victorious In UFC Debut | UFC Results

UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin Said Nurmagomedov is making his octagon debut tonight. Now the time has come to take a look at the UFC results from the night’s match up.

UFC Fight Night 133 is taking place within the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho tonight, July 14, for fight fans worldwide. Continuing the night’s FS1 featured prelims, Said Nurmagomedov is making his debut with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in a battle against Justin Scoggins.

The first round kicked off at a blistering pace. Scoggins dictated much of the fight, peppering Nurmagomedov with some precise strikes. However, Nurmagomedov still managed to land some strong right hands of his own before the sound of the bell.

This will be a tough one for the judges.

Scoggins momentarily dropped Nurmagomedov early in the second round, but the fighter quickly made it back to his feet. Seemingly recovered, Nurmagomedov returned to the center of the octagon and began once again peppering in shots.

The final round largely stayed on the feet. Nurmagomedov began to pour on the pressure, as the fighter was potentially down two rounds. Still, neither fighter was able to get a finish before the sound of the bell.

UFC Results: Said Nurmagomedov def. Justin Scoggins via split decision (29-28, 28-29 and 29-28)
