UFC women’s flyweight Mackenzie Dern missed weight by over seven pounds for her match up against Amanda Bobby Cooper back at UFC 224. The incident made for the third time in Dern’s mixed martial arts career that the fighter missed weight.
The 7-0 undefeated grappling ace has since received some serious heat from fight fans over the matter. Now former UFC women’s strawweight Angela Magana has come forward with a heated message of her own for the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu phenom.
Angela Magana had a short stint as an octagon competitor. With a record of 3-0 inside the octagon, Magana was eventually cut from the roster of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Now on a five fight losing streak, Magana is currently gearing up to face off against Kanako Murata under the Rizin FF promotion on Aug. 12.
