Fight fans are pouring into the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho this weekend for the latest fight card from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is delivering the exciting fight card for UFC Fight Night 133.
UFC Fight Night 133 is taking place this Saturday, July 14, for fight fans around the world. Continuing the night’s UFC Fight Pass prelims, flyweights Mark De La Rosa and Elias Garcia are going toe-to-toe for the Boise crowd. Check out the UFC results from the match up down below.
Garcia pushed the pace early in the fight, landing some tough shots on De La Rosa. However, De La Rosa managed to lock up his opponent against the fence before finishing a strong takedown.
De La Rosa opened things up in the second round, quickly pressuring Garcia into the fence once again. The fighter then managed to take his opponent’s back and get Garcia to the canvas. Sinking in a deep choke, De La Rosa managed to get the tap.
De La Rosa’s wife Montana De La Rosa is also a UFC fighter, with Montana De La Rosa having earned a submission victory via rear-naked choke at the The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale on July 6. This was certainly a momentous month for the De La Rosa family.
