Former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame on Thursday, July 5. However, the night before the induction, the former title holder found himself involved in a physical altercation within a restaurant.
Matt Serra is a mixed martial arts veteran. Having taken on some of the sport’s toughest and most talented competitors, Serra has garnered some serious respect within the world of MMA.
That being said, the fighter was allegedly assaulted by a seemingly intoxicated restaurant patron the night before his UFC Hall of Fame induction. Rather than retaliate with thrown fists, Serra elected to calmly subdue the alleged aggressor and wait for security to arrive.
