Max Holloway’s Camp Refutes Stroke Rumors

When Max Holloway pulled out of his fight against Brian Ortega, word on the street was that the UFC featherweight champion may have suffered a stroke.

Now, his management team is refuting these rumors, saying Max most certainly did not have a stroke of any kind.

In a statement to ESPN, Holloway’s manager released the following:

“All I can say right now is we are not sure who’s trying to manipulate the media with stroke rumors. I can’t imagine what kind of doctors would discharge Max from the ER if they actually thought he had a stroke.”
