UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier took a little tumble at the recent UFC 226 pre-fight press conference ahead of his big match up over the weekend. Now new footage from the fall has made its way to the internet.
Daniel Cormier is moving up in weight to challenge reigning heavyweight title holder Stipe Miocic for his belt. The two mixed martial artists will throw down in the live pay-per-view main event of UFC 226.
The event will take place on July 7 for International Fight Week from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. During the recent pre-fight press conference for the event, Cormier tripped over a speaker on stage.
After laying on the ground for a few moments, the title holder was helped up by a group of nearby individuals. Cormier then limped off stage.
