WSOF veteran Nick Newell is gearing up for potentially the largest opportunity of his career. Now the fighter’s opponent for his upcoming match up has been revealed.
Nick Newell has been campaigning for a shot inside the octagon ever since his dominant first round submission victory over Sonny Luque at LFA 35. Since then, the fighter has locked in a spot on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
The show is featured on the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s propriety streaming service UFC Fight Pass and offered fighters a chance to compete inside the octagon in front of UFC President Dana White for a chance to earn a contract with the UFC.
As provided by UFC.com, Nick Newell will now be headlining the show on July 24 in a battle against Alex Munoz.
