Northcutt Returns To 170 With Dominant Knockout Win | UFC Results

The time has finally come. UFC star Sage Northcutt is making his big return to the welterweight division.

The highly anticipated fight card for UFC Fight Night 133 is going down this Saturday, July 14, from within the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho for fight fans worldwide. Co-headlining the night’s event, Sage Northcutt is facing off against Zak Ottow in a welterweight war for division supremacy.

Team Alpha Male’s Sage Northcutt is currently undefeated within the lightweight division. That being said, the mixed martial artist is now taking things up to the 170 pound class for this exciting octagon performance.

Ottow managed to take down the 22-year-old karate phenom early int the fight, but Northcutt managed to get back to his feet and rock Ottow with a flurry of strikes. Northcutt finished the round by taking his opponent to the canvas and locking in a guillotine submission attempt.

Unable to get the finish, Northcutt completed the round with a brutal final flurry of ground and pound.

Ottow landed a takedown early in the second round, but Northcutt once again made it back to his feet without suffering any damage. Back on his feet, Northcutt pummeled Ottow with another flurry of strikes that brought the fighter to the canvas. The referee decided he had seen enough and called a stop to the contest.
