Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor had his court date on Thursday. Following the fighter’s successful plea deal, “Notorious” has come forward with a message over social media.
While McGregor was facing a potential 12 charges for the fracas that took place in Brooklyn, New York on April 5, “Notorious” ultimately had his felony charges dropped. The fighter will not receive any jail time or have his visa affected by the incident. Beyond that, McGregor will not have a criminal record due to the incident.
Rather, the Ireland native has been sentenced to five days of community service, a 1-3 day anger management evaluation and is required to provide restitution to a fighter injured in the fracas from April 5. McGregor plead guilty to one count of disorderly conduct.
