Mixed martial arts legend Vitor Belfort called an end to his fighting career after his tough knockout loss at UFC 224. That being said, it would appear that “The Phenom” is once again in talks with UFC President Dana White.
Vitor Belfort faced off against fellow former UFC champion Lyoto Machida at UFC 224 in both fighters’ home country of Brazil. Belfort suffered a second round knockout loss to his opponent.
After the fight, Belfort announced the end of his UFC career. Now, however, Belfort has taken to Instagram to share a photo from his recent visit with UFC boss Dana White.
Belfort once discussed an interest in starting a “legends league” for fellow veterans of the sport. Now it would appear that Belfort has started those talks up once more.
Check it out below:
“This room is where the magic happens. Away from the spotlight here is where all the matches are decided and where great ideas are born.
Maybe the legend league will born here as well… Thanks @danawhite for the talk. Was great to remember the past and share ideas for the future.”
