UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier shocked the world over the weekend. Now fight fans can watch it all over again.
Las Vegas, Nev. hosted the latest fight card from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on Saturday, July 7. In the heat of International Fight Week, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion delivered the highly anticipated fight card for UFC 226.
Headlining the night’s event, Daniel Cormier moved up in weight to challenge UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for his title. Cormier knocked out Miocic within the first round, earning D.C. a place in the MMA history books.
Daniel Cormier is now only the second fighter to ever simultaneously hold two division titles within the UFC, second only to UFC megastar Conor McGregor. Check out a replay of the action down below.
