Mixed martial arts phenom Sage Northcutt is currently undefeated as a lightweight. Now Northcutt is moving up to the welterweight class for his upcoming octagon performance. With that in mind, the young fighter has his sights set on the heavyweight division.
Sage Northcutt is set to face off against Zak Ottow in the welterweight co-main event of UFC Fight Night 133 this Saturday, July 14, in Boise, Idaho. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Northcutt revealed his interest in one day moving up to the heavyweight division. After all, the Team Alpha Male warrior is only 22-years-old.
“Yeah, I think so.” Northcutt said, when asked about the possibility of moving up past the welterweight division. “Personally, I think I might end up fighting heavyweight in the future.”
“I could just see myself growing, by 24 or 15 probably growing two, three or four more inches and putting on a lot of muscle.” Northcutt later added. “So, I can absolutely see it.”
