UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier made UFC history this weekend, with the incredible moment ultimately being stolen by former UFC heavyweight Brock Lesnar. Now UFC fighters have come forward with their thoughts on the matter.
Daniel Cormier moved up in weight to challenge UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for his title on Saturday, July 7, in the main event of UFC 226. The live pay-per-view went down inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and featured a series of exciting match ups.
Cormier shocked the world by knocking out Stipe Miocic within the first round of their fight, making D.C. only the second fighter in UFC history to ever simultaneously hold two division titles. Cormier quickly called out cage side Brock Lesnar during his post-fight interview.
In response, Lesnar entered the octagon and violently shoved Cormier in front of the Las Vegas crowd. Now UFC fighters are coming forward with their thoughts on the situation.
