UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and women’s featherweight title holder Cris Cyborg have been trying to negotiate a super fight for quite some time. With that in mind, it would appear that UFC President Dana White has come forward with an update on the matter.
Speaking after UFC on FOX 30’s recent ceremonial weigh-ins, Dana White revealed that he is determined to lock down the match up.
“That’s the fight to make. I don’t know when we’ll get it done, but that’s the fight to make. That’s the fight I want, I know that’s the fight the fans want, and it’s the fight we need to get done.”
“We’ll get it done.”
Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg once attempted to target a super fight for UFC 224 in their home country of Brazil. However, the fight never came to be. Now the UFC president is determined to lock down a match between the two.
