Mike Jackson earned a victory against former WWE superstar CM Punk back at UFC 225. Now Austin Vanderford has decided to call out the fighter.
Mike Jackson went toe-to-toe with CM Punk in Chicago, Illinois, as both fighters were coming off of lopsided losses to Mickey Gall. In the end, Jackson earned a dominant unanimous decision victory over CM Punk.
Meanwhile, UFC women’s flyweight Paige VanZant’s fiance Austin Vanderford made his big debut on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. The fighter earned a second round submission finish on the show, but failed to earn a UFC contract in the process.
Now Vanderford has decided to call out Mike Jackson in hopes of gaining a fight under the promotion. Jackson first took to Twitter to state:
“I’m over here enjoying beignets in New Orleans, and people talking about fights… #TruthFoodTour”
