UFC multi-division champion Daniel Cormier mad a historic night on Saturday. However, the fighter also had quite the scare on Friday.
D.C. headlined the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 226 on Saturday, July 7, from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. In the heat of International Fight Week, the UFC light heavyweight champion moved up in weight to challenge UFC heavyweight title holder Stipe Miocic for his belt.
Cormier made short work of Miocic, earning a first round knockout victory over the fighter. Now a new report has revealed that Cormier spent the prior Friday evening with his family and friends, before someone called that a shooter was in the building.
As reported within the video above, a fight between two juveniles took place within the Game Works arcade in Town Square on Friday night. One of the individuals then allegedly pulled out a firearm, leading to false reports of an active shooter in the building.
Consequently, Daniel Cormier and his family were forced to lay down inside the building and wait for the alleged threat to be cleared. A video of Cormier within the building can be seen above.
