UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier shocked the world when he knocked out Stipe Miocic on Saturday. Of course, the fighter was not quite done there.
Daniel Cormier moved up in weight to challenge UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for his title in the main event of UFC 226 on Saturday, July 7. Cormier managed to knock out Miocic within the first round of their match up.
Consequently, Cormier is now the second fighter in UFC history to simultaneously hold two division titles. Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was cage side for the event, as the former title holder was rumored to be preparing to call out the winner between Miocic and Cormier.
