The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) officially announced that former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and reigning UFC lightweight title holder Khabib Nurmagomedov will fight in the main event of UFC 229. However, it would appear that the Dagestan native has a different story to tell.
Taking to Instagram, Nurmagomedov has come forward to refute UFC President Dana White’s claim that he will be facing Conor McGregor on Oct. 6 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. for UFC 229’s live pay-per-view event. Check it out below:
