UFC superstar Nate Diaz faced Conor McGregor on short notice back at UFC 196. Despite taking the fight without proper time to prepare for the match up, the Stockton native earned a stunning second round submission victory over Conor McGregor.
The fight brought a momentary pause to the Ireland native’s rise through the UFC lightweight division, as “Notorious” was on a war path to challenge Eddie Alvarez for his title. In recently surfaced footage, Conor McGregor can be seen in his locker room backstage after the UFC 196 octagon war.
“I don’t know. I was hitting. I was slipping and banging that left hand.” McGregor said. “A load of times, he came short as well. On stage, I caught him with a clean uppercut and he was just always there in my face.”
“P***ied out, I did.” McGregor later added. “P***ied out.” Check it out within the video provided above.
