Conor McGregor Training Timed Knees For Takedown Defense, And He’s Good

UFC superstar Conor McGregor will be making his massive octagon return against undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov later this year. Knowing the Dagestan native’s impressive pedigree for Sambo wrestling, it would appear that “Notorious” is now training his takedown defense.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has yet to lose a single round in his 26 fight undefeated mixed martial arts career. Known for his merciless pacing and unmatched wrestling, “The Eagle” has been pinned as a slight betting favorite over Conor McGregor.

In response, “Notorious” has taken to social media to show off a photo of himself training to prepare for takedown attempts by throwing vicious knees to his opponent. Check it out below.

“1 year ago today I adhered to a load of rules, for a load of riches.
Not today though. Today was no rules. Just a fight. A Proper one. For nothing more than peace, and peace of mind.”
