Khabib Nurmagomedov has been pleading with UFC President Dana White to get Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father to UFC champion, a visa. Now it would appear that Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father has achieved just that.
Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is a native of Dagestan. Nurmagomedov has long wished to see his father in his corner. However, the fighter’s Sambo veteran father was not until recently able to obtain a visa to join him from the other side of the octagon cage.
Taking to Instagram, Khabib Nurmagomedov recently pleaded for Dana White to use his long standing relationship with President Donald Trump to obtain a visa for the Dagestan native’s father.
“@danawhite please ask Donald Trump give my father a visa. #ufc229”
Returning to the social media platform, Nurmagomedov has now decided to reveal that his father has seemingly earned his visa. Check it out below.
“Thank you so much @danawhite You are awesome This is your job #realitionship”
Khabib Nurmagomedov is now set to put his undefeated streak and his UFC lightweight title on the line in a grudge match against UFC megastar Conor McGregor. The fight will be the main event for UFC 229 on Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view.
