Dana White Denies Covington Of White House Dream, Takes UFC Belt To Trump On Solo Mission

When controversial UFC welterweight fighter Colby Covington captured UFC interim gold, with his latest win over Rafael dos Anjos, he continued his pro Donald Trump propaganda by telling the world he is going to take his belt to U.S. President at the White House.

Covington would not deviate from these words, prompting longtime Donald Trump friend Dana White to confirm that he can and likely will make this Covington-Trump meeting happen.

Unfortunately for Covington though, he fell out of grace with Dana White recently, when he turned down a unification bout with Tyron Woodley, citing the need for recovery from injury as a reason.

As a result, the UFC has moved on from Covington’s championship chapter, announcing that he will be stripped as soon as Tyron Woodley steps inside the cage against Darren Till for the undisputed world title.

If that wasn’t enough, Dana White went ahead with that trip to the White House as planned, with a UFC world title in hand and Colby Covington left on the sidelines.
