Darren Till: ‘My Fight Is Against My Weight, Not Woodley’

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is now set to face off against tough division contender Darren Till. The two mixed martial artists will throw down on Sept. 8 in Dallas, Texas for the live pay-per-view event of UFC 228.

Speaking to ESPN, Darren Till has come forward with his thoughts on the fight. Speaking on his recent missed weight in his fight against Stephen Thompson, Till revealed that his fight is against the weight cut.

“I’m going to make weight. Even if I have to kill myself and be 10% or 20% worse on fight day, I’m going to make that 170 mark. That’s my fight. My fight’s not the fight.

“I don’t give a F**k about Tyron Woodley. My fight is the weight. I do not care about him, or about any other fighter in the division. I care about making the 170 mark.”
