Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt suffered a tough loss last weekend. Now the talented former title holder has come forward with an emotionally touching statement for his baby son.
UFC 227 took place on Saturday, Aug. 4, from within the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Headlining the night’s live pay-per-view event, UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt battled it out in a title fight rematch.
Dillashaw ultimately earned a first round knockout victory over his opponent. Taking to Instagram, Cody Garbrandt has now decided to offer his young son a message for all to see.
“If I can give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, only then you will realize how special you are to me. @kai_garbrandt”
