Former two-division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre has not competed inside the octagon since vacating his middleweight title after being stricken with colitis. That being said, it would appear that the French-Canadian now has a third title on his mind.
Speaking to Submission Radio, Georges St-Pierre has come forward to reveal that he is interest in fighting the winner between Conor McGregor and undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. The two fighters will face off for the main event of UFC 229 on Oct. 6.
“I would be interested in that fight. That’s a win-win situation. It’s a legacy upgrade and it’s good money, gona be a big fight. However, I fought at 170 and relinquished the title.
“I fought at 185 and I relinquished the title. I don’t think the UFC will let me fight for the title at 155. They will be afraid I’ll relinquish and leave the division in ruins.”
