Henry Cejudo Shocks The World, Ends The Reign Of Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson | UFC Results

The time has finally come. UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson is now set to defend his title once again.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hosting the exciting fight card of UFC 227 tonight, Aug. 4, from within the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Co-headlining the night’s card, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson is taking on tough division contender Henry Cejudo in an exciting title fight rematch.

In their first octagon war, “Mighty Mouse” dominated his opponent for a first round TKO victory. Now, however, the two top flyweights are battling it out for the Los Angeles crowd. Check out the UFC results down below.

Henry Cejudo seemingly rolled is ankle early in the fight, seemingly creating issues for the fighter concerning footwork. However, Cejudo eventually regained his bearings.

Cejudo managed to take his opponent to the canvas momentarily. As “Mighty Mouse” quickly fired back to his feet, Cejudo landed a heavy left hand on his opponent near the end of the round.

Henry Cejudo stood and traded with the champion for a while, before taking Johnson to the canvas. From there, the Olympic gold freestyle wrestler pummeled Johnson with some vicious knees to the shoulder from a sprawling position.

This was seemingly a big round for Henry Cejudo.

Johnson began to pour on the pressure in the final round. But, Cejudo managed to take his opponent down once again. “Mighty Mouse” quickly shot back to his feet.

Cejudo took his opponent down two times more in the round, but Johnson exploded back to his feet swiftly on both accounts. Still, this was possibly another strong round for Henry Cejudo.

The first of the championship rounds opened with a furry. Cejudo took his opponent down early, landing powerful bombs on the champion in the process.

While Johnson made is way back to his feet, Cejudo went on to take his opponent down near the fence with two minutes left in the round. This time around, Cejudo managed to finish the round from a dominant position on the ground.

Both fighters fired out of the gate for the final round. Cejudo took Johnson down with a single minute left in the fight, following three minutes of brawling in the center of the octagon. However, Johnson swiftly made it back to his feet.

This one has gone the distance.
