Former UFC heavyweight fighter Cheick Kongo has long been one of the most fan friendly fighters in the world.
With a straight kill or be killed mentality, Kongo is responsible for some of the most magnificent highlight reel finishes in MMA history.
Now he’s booked his return.
Long gone are his days as a UFC heavyweight. Instead, Kongo enjoys being one of the featured attraction under the Bellator MMA banner.
Cheick Kongo has agreed to face off with Timothy Johnson, in a heavyweight bout at Bellator 208 on Oct. 13 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. MMA.
At 43 years of age, Kongo is in the midst of a six fight winning streak.
