UFC lightweights James Vick and Justin Gaethje are now set to headline one of the UFC’s upcoming fight cards. Following a recent staredown, Vick has now come forward with a few words on his upcoming opponent.
James Vick and Justin Gaethje will be headlining UFC Fight Night 135. The exciting event will take place Aug. 25 from within the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The two talented mixed martial artists met face to face at the recent UFC 25th Anniversary Press Conference in promotion for the fight. Consequently, Vick and Gaethje were granted a chance to staredown for the camera.
Speaking on the Submission Radio podcast, James Vick has since come forward with a few words on the staredown.
“I saw a dumbass. I saw a dude who really just – I don’t know. I don’t know what he was thinking. He wasn’t really trying to intimidate me. I wasn’t trying to really intimidate him. We were just looking at each other. But I really just didn’t see much from the guy.”
