In New First, UFC Books Three Fighters For One Pay-Per-View Main Event

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is always looking to lock down new and exciting match ups. Now, however, it would appear that the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion has decided to stack the proverbial deck for one of the promotion’s upcoming main events.

The highly anticipated fight card for UFC 228 is set to take place Sept. 8. The live pay-per-view event will go down in Dallas, Texas for fight fans around the world.

Headlining the night’s fight card, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will face off against undefeated contender Darren Till. As reported by ESPN, Kamaru Usman has now been chosen as the official back-up opponent in case either Woodley or Till are forced to pull out of the match up.

It is seemingly quite rare that the UFC locks in three fighters at a time for a bout in an official manor. However, it would appear that Kamaru Usman has manged to land the position.
