Rumors have been swirling that former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor flew in Olympic gold medalist and multiple time world champion wrestler Jordan Burroughs for his current training camp. However, it would appear that those rumors are simply false.
Conor McGregor is currently gearing up to face off against undefeated UFC lightweight champion and Sambo phenom Khabib Nurmagomedov. The two will throw down in the main event of UFC 229 on Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view.
Taking to Twitter, Jordan Burroughs has now decided to shoot down the recent rumors that he is joining Conor McGregor’s training camp.
“I’m not working with Conor. I’m attempting to win a World Championship of my own in October. I wish him the best of luck in his upcoming title fight with Khabib.”
