Once a fighter reaches the pinnacle of the sport as a UFC champion they’re forever a target for young up and coming talent.
Getting a win over a former champion is the passing of torch in the prize fighting world, and many young guns want the chance.
Australia’s Tai Tuivasa is unbeaten in professional Mixed Martial Arts competition, and he just notched a win over former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski.
Looking to build on that momentum, the Australian has now targeted another former champion in Junior dos Santos.
Dos Santos though, must have taken a master’s class in turning down fights, because he let this young gun know the difference between stars and rising-stars.
Check out the exchange:

We can dance anywhere the taxes won’t kill me, friend. You gotta think about this stuff when you make real money… you keep up those wins and you’ll learn about that soon, Daniel-son.
