Two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier and UFC lightweight title holder Khabib Nurmagomedov are not only both UFC champions. The two talented mixed martial artists are also teammates. That being said, it would appear that Cormier and “The Eagle” recently had a minor disagreement concerning their individual wrestling prowess.
Daniel Cormier became the second fighter in UFC history to simultaneously hold multiple division titles when he knocked out Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight belt within the first round of their UFC 226 match up. Meanwhile, undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is now set to fight UFC megastar Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229 on Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view.
Now American Kickboxing Academy’s Javier Mendez has taken to social media with a video of Cormier and Nurmagomedov having a friendly argument over which fighter has the most wrestling knowledge.
Check it out within the video below.
