Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor and reigning UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov are seemingly on a collision course destined for the octagon. With that in mind, UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber has come forward with his thoughts on the potential match up.
Nurmagomedov and McGregor have yet to be officially announced, but both fighters are seemingly targeting a fight against each other. Now Team Alpha Male founder Urijah Faber has come forward to predict that Conor McGregor may earn a finish over the Dagestan native.
“I think odds are in Conor’s favor, because it starts standing every round.” Faber said, speaking to TMZ Sports. “Unless Khabib can take him down over and over and over again right off the bat, I think the power is going to be a little much.”
